Neil O'Brien, MP for Harborough, welcomed 50 visitors from Fleckney to Parliament on Monday 28th October 2019.
The visit was organised by the Fleckney Group, following a meeting earlier this year between Neil and representatives of different groups and clubs that are active in the village.
The visit to Parliament included a full tour of the Houses of Parliament, a visit to the terrace and a Q&A with Neil. This was then followed by a visit to the viewing gallery of the chamber in the House of Commons to watch the afternoon debate.
Neil said, "I've met a number of the attendees before during a Fleckney Stakeholder meeting earlier this year, so it was great to see them again. Fleckney has so much happening for people of different ages and backgrounds, thanks to the efforts of these residents, who I pay tribute to for all they do."
