Neil O'Brien, MP for Harborough, Oadby & Wigston was joined in Oadby by Conservative Party Co-Chairman, Amanda Milling MP.
The visit formed part of Amanda's nationwide Levelling Up tour, and included a visit to an Oadby manufacturing business, EDM Ltd.
Neil said, "It was great to have Amanda join us and hear first hand from a local business about some of the challenges and opportunities before them. It's been an incredibly difficult time for many businesses, and we need to ensure as part of the Levelling Up work that we have the right policies in place to provide the support they need to grow and thrive.
My Harborough, Oadby & Wigston constituency and the wider Leicester and Leicestershire area as a whole is a fantastic place for local businesses to set up and grow. We have excellent transport links by road, rail and air, and a host of brilliant educational institutions on our doorstep to provide highly qualified students and graduates.”
