This incredible group played as a team and lost as a team.
They gave the nation some amazing moments over recent weeks and gave absolutely everything, both on and off the pitch. They finish the tournament with their heads held high and we thank them for everything. They brought millions of people together and came agonisingly close to winning our first major trophy in 55 years, and we couldn't be prouder of their efforts, resilience and strength.
Anyone now racially abusing them, isn't an England fan and doesn't speak for the millions across the country who feel gratitude and pride at the effort the team has put in throughout the tournament.
