Neil O’Brien, MP for Harborough, Oadby and Wigston, welcomed Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson MP, to Market Harborough on Friday 5th April to meet with local Air Cadets.
They met with members of the 1084 Air Cadets in Market Harborough, where the Defence Secretary was given a tour of the facilities, a musical performance, followed by a Q&A with Cadets and the Royal British Legion.
Neil said, “It was a pleasure to welcome the Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson MP to the constituency, to hear first-hand from some of our brilliant Cadets in Market Harborough.
I’ve met the Cadets on a few occasions now and they never fail to impress me with their commitment, enthusiasm and dedication. We were able to speak to a number of them on the day, including some who had just recently completed applications to join the RAF which was fantastic to hear.”
