Neil O'Brien, MP for Harborough, Oadby and Wigston, visited Wigston Academy on Friday 18th January 2019.
As part of the visit, Neil was given a tour of the Academy by the Headteacher, followed by two discussion groups with students of different ages.
Neil said, "It was really interesting to hear the views of students from the same Academy but across different years. Both groups asked a number of very topical and relevant questions on both local and national matters.
It's always encouraging to see young people taking such an interest in politics and their local communities, and I very much look forward to visiting again in the future."
