Neil O’Brien, MP for Harborough, Oadby & Wigston, recently visited a newly established business in the Oadby industrial estate, ‘Vets4u’.
Vets4u has been set up by constituent, Rak Thakkar, and will provide an online store for a range of pet products, including prescription items, pet food, toys and treats.
Neil said, “It’s always great to see new family businesses setting up in the constituency, particularly those that will be involved in helping to look after our cherished pets. I wish Rak well with the new venture and look forward to hearing how it’s going in the weeks and months ahead. Oadby is a fantastic place for a business given its location and strong transport links, so I’m sure this new venture will do very well.”
Rak said, “Pets become a part of the family, and we’re delighted to be able to offer a wide range of products & medicines to help people ensure their pets are well looked after. We’ve had a great response from the community already, particularly from the armed forces as we’re keen to support our military and veterans however possible, which is why we’ve also signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant and established Vets4Vets. Please do feel free to get in touch if ever there is anything we can help with, we’d be delighted to assist Pet Parents & Farmers everywhere.”
