Neil O'Brien, MP for Harborough, Oadby and Wigston visited Brookside Primary school in Oadby, to speak to the children and teachers about his role as an MP.
During the visit, Neil spoke to children from the Eagles and Falcons classes, as well as school Councillors and also took part in a Q&A session.
Neil said: "it was excellent to visit Brookside again, it is a great school with a brilliant atmosphere and teaching environment. The pupils are encouraged to push themselves and also to think about challenges such as the environment, which was great to see.
The questions asked were superb and incredibly wide ranging - including the balance of power between the Commons and the Monarchy, and the role of the Party Whips.
I look forward to visiting Brookside again in the future and hearing more about how the children there are progressing."
