Neil O'Brien, MP for Harborough, Oadby and Wigston met pupils from the Robert Smyth Academy during their recent visit to Parliament.
Pupils are currently undertaking work on a project concerning the suffragette's movement and the rights of women to vote.
Neil said, "It was brilliant to hear about their project which is incredibly timely given the recent unveiling of the Millicent Fawcett Statue in Parliament Square.
They asked a number of very relevant questions during their Q&A which is always great to see. I look forward to hopefully seeing the pupils of Robert Smyth again soon during my visit next month."
