Neil O'Brien, MP for Harborough, Oadby & Wigston, attended the ground-breaking ceremony at the second phase of the Leicester Space Park on Thursday 30th January 2020.
The ceremony was also attended by Universities Minister Chris Skidmore MP.
Neil said, "This is a hugely exciting project that will not only benefit the City and County, but will hopefully go on to become a world-leading cluster in the space sector.
It's been a pleasure to support and be part of the work to help get it to this stage and I look forward to watching it progress in the coming months and years."
