Neil O’Brien, MP for Harborough, met with Matt Evans, Managing Director at Centrebus to discuss bus services in the Southern Estate in Market Harborough.
Services during off-peak hours had recently been pulled by operators Arriva, leaving a large gap between the morning and afternoon rush hour services.
Neil said, “This is something constituents have been contacting me on, and I share their concerns about the current gap in the services. The service is relied upon by a number of customers, particularly the elderly, to get in and out of town and I’m keen to ensure we fully explore all options here.
The meeting with Centrebus was very useful and I look forward to continuing the conversations towards hopefully finding a solution here.”
